Is this session suitable for Self-Development, and more specifically for Leaders?
To lead others, everyone needs to start by leading oneself. Leadership development thus starts with self-development.
This session is a powerful and practical session for exploring the self-other dimension in leadership development.
You don’t have to be an artist to benefit from CAA activities. CAA activities are an excellent way to deepen the knowledge about yourself. Through fun activity discover what moves you and what keeps you stuck. More importantly remind yourself of your value. Day to day, we are too often stuck in a loop of negative self-talk, that we need a perspective shift to get us out of it and back on the right track. Most of our daily problems can be managed, if we would only understand ourselves better.
For most of these activities you will need nothing more than a pen and paper or any personally preferred drawing materials.
The one all-encompassing idea of CAA, is art as a therapeutic tool. Participation in the act of creative art opens one up to a realm of possibilities for the betterment of the individual. The field of associations was a technique developed by Carl Jung as this creative approach was a great potential to help people grow in self-understanding and identifying hidden motivations. Some of the many benefits it brings – self-expression, help understanding difficult situations, exploration and discovery of potentials.
